The report provides information on energy offers, customers experiencing payment difficulty, and how energy companies have performed. It also provides an update on new energy rules we have developed, newly licensed energy companies, and the actions we are undertaking to improve outcomes for Victorian energy consumers.
We have been working to implement key recommendations from Victorian Government's retail energy market review (an independent bipartisan review of electricity and gas retail markets).
The minimum tariff for households and businesses who feed power back into the electricity grid from small renewable energy sources (like solar panels) is 11.3 cents per kilowatt hour.
