We granted Greater Western Water a 12-month extension to its regulatory period, to 30 June 2024. Greater Western Water was established in July 2021 from the integration of City West Water and Western Water
We reviewed our water pricing approach and developed the PREMO framework, which puts customers at the centre of a water business's decision making.
We undertook this review to test whether we need to make any changes for future price reviews given changing economic, financial and industry conditions.
In 2013, we approved allowances for metropolitan water businesses to help customers manage the impact of water price increases.
