October update on assessment of pending certificate claims for refrigerated cabinet installations

The Essential Services Commission is continuing to assess pending certificate claims for refrigerated cabinet installations to review their compliance with the program rules.

We have processed over 85 per cent of the certificate claims and aim to finish processing the remaining claims within the next few days.

We ask accredited persons to provide any information requested promptly, so we can complete outstanding assessments.

Our investigation into multiple refrigerated cabinet installations at single sites and into the creation of certificates where we hold concerns is ongoing. The commission is continuing its site visits and closely analysing information and data collected compulsorily under its legislative investigation powers. We will provide an update on the outcome of our investigation in due course.
