Updates to VEU accreditation forms

What has changed

We have updated Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) program accreditation application forms used to collect information from:

• new applicants
• existing accredited persons applying for additional activities.

The forms now include requirements to ensure compliance with the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEU) code of conduct. Applicants must provide additional information for us to assess their understanding of, and ability to comply with, the code.

The VEU application forms that have been updated are: 

• VEU Accreditation Application Form
• VEU Additional Activity Application Form
• Non-Building Based Lighting Upgrade (Activity 35) Application Form
• Public Lighting Upgrade (Activity 27) Application Form
• Gas Efficiency Activities (Activities 37 to 42) Application Form
• Cold Room Activity (Activity 43) Application Form
• Commercial and Industrial Heat Pump Water Heater (Activity 44) Application form
• Project-Based Activities Application Form.

Implementation timeline

Anyone commencing a new application for VEU accreditation or additional activities should use the new forms. 

If you commenced preparing an application prior to 5 December 2022 using a form published at that time:

• we will accept completed applications using the old form until 23 December 2022
• we will request further information, specifically to address questions relating to your compliance with the code, separately.
