‘I have been a Western Bulldogs supporter for over 50 years and saw my first game in 1971. The Footscray football club has been a lifelong passion. In many ways, it has defined me as a person: it’s taught me to be loyal and resilient, and to persevere no matter the odds and the naysayers.
‘My work focuses on the Victorian Energy Efficiency Target (VEET) scheme, which aims to help reduce greenhouse gases by making energy efficiency improvements more affordable for consumers. The people I work with are passionate about what they do, and they are keen to improve the lot of Victorian consumers. Our work is important and makes a difference, but we also know how to have fun.
‘In VEET we have day-to-day relationships with consumers and businesses. That’s important because we can see the value of great relationships and investing in those relationships - they benefit the community.’
