‘My dad comes from an Italian migrant family. Each year, the family gets together in Melbourne and makes a big batch of tomato pasta sauce for the year ahead. I took it for granted for a long time, but I have recently realised how important it is to maintain these aspects of our culture. I enjoyed helping out when we made a new batch a few weeks ago – but the best part is consuming!
‘In the transport group, we’ve started monitoring the prices of services offered by the Port of Melbourne. The port handles more than 7200 containers each day, all of them containing items bought and sold by people all over Victoria. 'I’m really proud of this work, as it should promote a stable and transparent regulatory environment for the port and its users for a long time to come.’
