Essential stories: Monica from the Victorian Energy Upgrades team

I'm a Project Analyst at the Victorian Energy Upgrades division at the commission. 

For me, a big part of enjoying my work comes from knowing that I'm part of something that really makes a difference. My division is made up of people who are passionate about our mission: helping Victorians reduce their energy bills and their greenhouse gas emissions. When I get home at the end of the day, I'm really satisfied by the work I've done.

I also really appreciate how much the commission values its people's interests. I love my sport. The fact that the commission supports me to have flexible work arrangements means a lot to me and allows me to have great work-life balance.

Footy is my big passion. I've been playing for about five years and I'm a big Demons fan. Through my time working at the commission, I have also been able to compete in national beach handball competitions as well as social sports including footy 7s and basketball.
