Taxi monitoring reports

Our annual monitoring reports assessed the performance of taxis in regional and country Victoria. As of 1 July 2018, we no longer have a role in this area.

Our reports described trends in fares and costs, and identified potential misuses of market power that warrant further investigation. This helped hold taxi operators accountable to the communities they serve.

We no longer monitor regional and country taxi fares

Commercial Passenger Vehicles Victoria is now responsible for monitoring fares for all commercial passenger vehicles (including taxis) in Victoria.
